You may be wondering what is a personal finance library and what type of books should I have in it? Well I personally feel that best type of personal finance library is going to consist of books that are going to provide practical advice on how to begin saving and investing to help you become money smart.

We all need to consistently educate ourselves; especially after we have gone through an ordeal such as bankruptcy. Here is a list of my top 5 personal finance books that I love to read and follow to help me become money smart.

1. Total Money Make Over

2. Rich Dad Poor Dad

3. Think And Grow Rich:

4. Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind:

5. Start Late Finish Rich:

Of course everyone’s list is going to vary with the type of books that they love to read. However the main point is that you want to begin investing more time reading on educating yourself on how to invest your money and save. Unless you want to face the same situation that you just experienced; it is time to begin learning how to think differently about money.

You have to understand that all the wealthy people think differently about their money. That is the only difference between someone who has money to save and someone who does not. Well maybe they make more money than you do as well.

I have personally found that when my whole attitude about money changes; then opportunities seem to open up for me to begin making more money. Your main concern right after filing bankruptcy is to begin changing your mindset about the money that you do have; and that is going to entail that you read books that you may never have read before in the past.
